LowRider is my part of K Space Contemporary's mural entitled Loteria! The mural stems from a fine art exhibition at K Space Contemporary in November 2013 held in conjunction with the annual Dia de los Muertos Festival in which artists created original interpretations of cards from the traditional Mexican game, Loteria.

Works of art in the exhibition were photographed, catalogued and submitted to a panel of jurors. The jurors selected 54 cards for inclusion in the mural. Phase I of the mural, completed in October, includes twenty-four 4’ x 6 ‘ paintings installed in a grid. The overall size of the mural is 32 ft. x 18 ft. The mural is located on the South wall of the Kress Building, 619 Chaparral, Corpus Christi, Texas.
